Is there a password recovery procedure for GPH6000 Series?

If you forget the administrator password, you can restore your product to its factory settings.

Restoration Procedure
1. Perform Device Restore. The administrator password and all user data will be reset.
2. Set the new administrator password.

There are two ways to restore the product:
Device Restore via Tap-Tap Operation
Device Restore via USB

Device Restore via Tap-Tap Operation

NOTE: This procedure is only available if System Settings > Services > "Enable device restore via TAP TAP option" is set to enabled.

1) Turn off this product.

2) Turn on the product and immediately after the progress bar appears, tap the screen with your finger multiple times.

3) Tap-Tap menu appears on the top of the screen. "SYSTEM SETTINGS" is selected. Wait for 5 seconds without touching the screen.

4) The Tap-Tap menu will switch automatically. To select "DEVICERESTORE", press and hold your finger on the screen for 5 seconds.

5) All user data is cleared, and the product restarts in its factory default state.

Device Restore via USB

NOTE: This procedure is only available if System Settings > Services > "Enable device restore via USB" is set to enabled.

1) Create a file named "device-factory-restore" into the USB memory and plug it into this product. (Any file format is fine.)

2) The product restore process starts automatically. The buzzer is played once at the beginning and 3 times at the end if the operation is successful.

3) The "device-factory-restore" file is deleted from the USB memory. All user data is cleared, and the product restarts in its factory default state.
