Overview
A simple project which uses a picture display part to rapidly display a series of PNG images in a folder. This gives the effect of a GIF playing. This same example can be used for movies that have frames converted to to PNGs.
Three different GIF-Style Animations are provided:
- Turbine
- Crankshaft
- Alarm
The content screen script for each content screen advances to the next PNG picture in the folder. Order of pictures based on A-Z, 0-9 sort order of filenames.
For example:
- C:\GIF-Style_Animation\TurbineAnimation\frame_00_delay-0.04s.png
- C:\GIF-Style_Animation\TurbineAnimation\frame_01_delay-0.04s.png
... - C:\GIF-Style_Animation\TurbineAnimation\frame_25_delay-0.04s.png
When transferred to unit the pictures will be stored internally in a unique folder for each animation. For example “/TurbineAnimation”
