Notice for users of PS5000 Series Slim type, PS-5711W and PS-5811W, with HDMI on Windows 10

We have confirmed the following symptom on PS5000 Series Slim type, PS-5711W / PS-5811W, with HDMI on Windows® 10.
The symptom and corrective measures for this problem are indicated below.

Symptom Descriptions

Symptom occurs at the following conditions.

Used OS: Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB (64bit)
Operation: In the case that we connect a monitor with HDMI port during booting up.

“Blue screen” appears at booting up. The system cannot boot up.
After the system booted up without HDMI, it will be no problem even if you used HDMI after that.

*1 The general Windows® 10 which you installed by yourself also becomes Target OS.

*2 “B” of the 12th character in Part Number means Window® 10 installed.


We have found that the symptom was caused by a bug peculiar to Intel® display driver. Only if you replaced into the improved driver, you can resolve this problem.
