Properties (Alarm Group)

[LoLo Label] / [Lo Label] / [Hi Label] / [HiHi Label]

Enter the label that displays in the Alarm Summary object’s [Alarm Type] column.
You can set a label for each alarm type (LoLo/Lo/Hi/HiHi).

Note:

  • Go to [Project Explorer]→[Alarms/Events]→[All Alarms]→[Alarm Group]→[Bool Alarm] or [Level Alarm], and set the alarm type with the [Alarm Type] property in the Properties screen.
  • When entering characters that do not correspond with the Language Text, select the appropriate language in the font setting of objects where the characters will display. When using Language Text, select the language in the Language Table editor.

[Active Label] / [ACK Label] / [RTN Label] / [UNACK Label]

You can set a label for each alarm status (Active/ACK/RTN/UNACK).

Note: When entering characters that do not correspond with the Language Text, select the appropriate language in the font setting of objects where the characters will display. When using Language Text, select the language in the Language Table editor.

[Parameter]

Set a parameter for the alarm group.
When the associated alarm group is selected in an Alarm Summary object, the set parameter is saved in the Alarm Summary object’s source property (SelectedParameter).
Using this mechanism, you can perform any operation when an alarm group is selected.

Setting Value Range: 0 - 65535

Note:

  • When the setting is a duplicate of the alarm [Parameter], the alarm’s [Parameter] setting takes priority.

[Alarm Behavior]

Select the alarm behavior.

  • [Optional ACK]: Alarms transition between the Active, Acknowledged and Return-to-Normal (RTN) states. Acknowledging alarms is optional.
  • [Mandatory ACK]: Alarms transition between the Active, Acknowledged, Unacknowledged and Return-to-Normal (RTN) states. Acknowledging alarms is mandatory before it can enter the Return-to-Normal (RTN) state.
