Configuring FTP Connections Settings

You can view and edit the FTP Connections.

Note: For information on the models that support FTP Connections, refer to the following.

Supported Model/Feature List

To edit the IP address of the FTP server: 

  1. On the display unit, open the Hardware Configuration screen.
  2. To the right of the [FTP Connections] field, touch the ellipsis [...] to display the configured FTP connection.
  3. Touch the IP address to display a keypad where you can enter the new IP address.
  4. Type the IP address and tap [Save and Reboot].

Note:

  • Set the security level for the operation that displays the Hardware Configuration screen.
  • Use a trusted FTP server and IP address.
  • When you transfer a project file, the IP address of the FTP server is overwritten with the project contents.

To set FTP connection settings: 

  1. On the display unit, open the Hardware Configuration screen.
  2. To the right of the [FTP Connections] field, touch the ellipsis [...] to display the configured FTP connection.
  3. Set the required settings and tap [Save and Reboot].

Note:

  • The following properties cannot be updated in the Hardware Configuration screen.
    [Name], [ID], [Encryption], [Login Type], [Validate Certificate]
