Defining External Device Communication Settings

You can adjust or check the driver communication settings. Configure the drivers settings to match the communication settings of the external device. The communication settings are different depending on the external device.

To adjust the communication settings:

1. Open the Hardware Configuration screen.
2. In [Select Setting Equipment], select the desired device.

3. Select the required driver and touch the [...] button at the right side.
4. Adjust the communication settings such as [Protocol Type], [Port Number], [Timeout (sec)], [Retry], and [Wait To Send].
   

   Note: Check the parameters on the external device itself, and adjust as required. [Timeout(sec)], [Retry], [Wait To Send] are recommended to be used with their initial settings.

5. Touch the [Save and Reboot] button. The changes are saved and the runtime application restarts.
