Web Server Settings

Web Server allows you to receive variables value, quantity and an alarm/system error notification remotely.

Configuring Web Server Settings

Steps to configure the Web Server Settings in the display unit.

Note: For information on the models which support the Web Server, see the following.

In the Project Explorer window, go to [System Architecture] and click [Target01].
In the Properties window, click [Advanced] tab and click [Data Access] tab.
Go to [Web Function Settings] and select the [Web Server Enable] check box.
Set the following properties.

Select to use Web Server.

[Web Server Settings]

When restricting the user according to the user access level of Web Server, select enable [Security Setting] and set the security level.

User can see server property, variable name, variable value, system errors, and alarms.

Set the Port Number for data communication.

This property is available on models that support HTTPS/WSS.

This property is available when [Encrypted Communication] is enabled.

[Data Storage]
Specify the storage location for exporting the server certificate.

Specify the storage location for exporting the server certificate.

Specify the destination folder for exporting the server certificate. If left blank, the certificate is exported and saved in the root directory.

Build a communication environment using encrypted communication (for example, VPN).
Install the display unit on a trusted secure network and protect the display unit with a firewall.
