Web Server Settings

Web Server allows you to receive variables value, quantity and an alarm/system error notification remotely.

Configuring Web Server Settings

Steps to configure the Web Server Settings in the display unit.

Supported Model/Feature.

  1. In the Project Explorer window, go to [System Architecture] and click [Target01].
  2. In the Properties window, click [Advanced] tab and click [Data Access] tab.
  3. Go to [Web Function Settings] and select the [Web Server Enable] check box.
  4. Set the following properties.

[Enable Web Server]

Select to use Web Server.

[Web Server Settings]
[Security Setting]

When restricting the user according to the user access level of Web Server, select enable [Security Setting] and set the security level.

[Security Level For Read]

User can see server property, variable name, variable value, system errors, and alarms.

[Port Number]

Set the Port Number for data communication.

[Encrypted Communication]

This property is available on models that support HTTPS/WSS.

[Export Certificate]

This property is available when [Encrypted Communication] is enabled.

[Data Storage]

Specify the storage location for exporting the server certificate. 

[Folder Name]

Specify the destination folder for exporting the server certificate. If left blank, the certificate is exported and saved in the root directory.
