Product: 3300 series and 1401 products with an LPG1 motherboard.

Extra Hardware required:
     1. External Xycom Floppy drive
     2. Backpack CD-Rom drive from Micro-solutions or equivalent.
     3. Boot floppies.

Instructions:
* Using instructions referred to in the 143399(x) Windows XP
  Recovery guide.pdf file, create the 6 disk set for
  Windows XP (x=Rev of the instruction file).
* Place the recovery CD in the Backpack CD-Rom .
* Start the system with the Windows XP boot disk #1 in the floppy
  drive.
* When the message at the bottom of the screen says "Press F6 to load
  SCSI or 3rd party drivers" You MUST press F6.
  Warning: This message will disappear in a short amount of time.
  If you did not press F6, the installation will eventually fail
  during disk #4. The install process will have to be restarted.
* Follow the normal install process until asked to specify additional
  devices.
* Now press "S" to specify additional devices. When prompted for the
  third party driver disk, use the Windows Backpack driver disk. 
* After that, press the "Enter" key to continue. 
* Continue the normal installation until prompted to insert the
  Backpack floppy disk. Place it in the floppy drive and press the
  "Enter" key.
* Continue the installation.
* Warning: The default video resolution is 800x600. If you have a 8" 
  or 10" flat panel display, you will not be able to seethe bottom
  part of the screen.
* Use Alt-N in place of clicking "NEXT" to navigate through the rest 
  of the installation.
* After the installation is complete, the display resolution can be
  changed by following these instructions:
 - Right click on the desktop
 - Select "properties"
 - Select "settings"
 - Click on "Advanced"
 - Click on "Adapter"
 - Click on "List all Modes"
 - Select "640x480, High Color (16 bit)"
 - Click "OK"
 - Click "Apply"
* After changing the resolution to 640x480, a warning ballon will
  pop up
 everytime the system is restarted. To stop this, follow these
 instructions:
 - Right click on the Red X on the right side of the toolbar.
 - Check the box to prevent the dialog from popping up again.
 - Click "No"
* Copy the I386 directory to the hard drive. This will simplify
  driver installs in the future.
* Copy the 2000/XP drivers from the Xycom Document CD to the c:
  drive.
* Install the System driver that was found on the Xycom Document CD. 
* Install the Video driver that was found on the Xycom Document CD. 
* Install the LAN driver found on the Xycom Document CD (if needed).
* Install any Service packs (if needed).
* The device manager with show a Yellow exclamation mark for the
  Multimedia Audio Controller. If this presents a problem, follow
  the axpreadme.txt file (found in the audio subdirectory) for
  instructions on how to clear that warning.
