For windows 9x and ME, when installing the Serial or USB drivers keep these important rules in mind.

1. Once you have loaded the USB driver, or if you have plugged in the USB cable to
the 2216 controller while in Windows you will not be able to calibrate the touch
screen for serial operation anymore unless you do the following:
   a. Uninstall the USB touch driver using the Elotouch USB unistall utility.
   b. Unplug the USB cable from the PC/AT.
   c. Power cycle the PC/AT if prompted.
   d. Power cycle the 5015T/R2 unit.
   e. Connect a straight through RS232 serial cable between the PC/AT and the 5015T/R2 unit.
Note: Make sure that you connect to the COM port you will be installing the driver to.
   f. Re-install the Elotouch serial driver.
2. Once you have the serial touch screen calibrated to your satisfaction you can connect the USB
cable between the PC/AT and the 5015T/R2 and install the USB driver. You may then calibrate
the USB touchscreen. Note: If you disconnect the USB cable and attempt to calibrate it will look
like it is calibrating the serial touchscreen but it is really just a fake calibrate that does
   nothing.
3. The right mouse button feature is only available with the serial driver. Even though it still appears
as available after installing the USB driver it will only work while you are in serial mode.
4. If the controller cannot be found then there is a most likely any open on one of the lines to the
serial cable (if in serial mode) or USB cable (if in USB mode).
