Registered devices

Displays registered EDS in the [Catalog manager] dialog box.

Device Information

Display the contents of the registered EDS.

Add adapter

From the [Registered EDS], add the selected EDS to the tree view of the network configuration. Add up to 32 adapters.

Delete adapter

Delete the adapter selected in the tree view of the network configuration.

Setting

Display the settings of the node (scanner, adapter and connection) selected in the tree view of the network configuration.

Setting Node

Add connection

Add a connection to the adapter selected in the tree view of the network configuration. Select the connection in the [Add connection] dialog box.
Only one connection can be set up for each adapter.

Delete connection

Delete the connection to the adapter selected in the tree view of the network configuration.

Setting Node

Setting items vary depending on the node (scanner, adapter and connection) selected in the tree view of the network configuration.

Scanner

Module IP Address

Set the IP address of the scanner (display unit).

Sub-Network Mask

Set the subnet mask of the scanner (display unit).

Gateway IP Address

Set the default gateway address of the scanner (display unit).

Implicit message communication

ForwardOpen timeout

Set the ForwardOpen timeout from 1,000 to 8,335,840 milliseconds.

Explicit message communication

ForwardOpen timeout

Set the ForwardOpen timeout from 1,000 to 8,335,840 milliseconds.

Request/Response timeout

Set the request and response timeout from 1 to 65535 seconds.

Adapter

IP Address

Set the adapter’s IP address.

Connection

Input

Set the data output from the adapter.

RPI(T->O)

Displays the communication frequency set in the EDS. The setting range is 2 to 65535 milliseconds.

Input size

Displays the size of the communication data set in the EDS. If the size is smaller than the size of the terminal assigned to the variable in the [I/O Settings] screen, the variable assignment is canceled.

Input priority

Displays the priority set in the EDS. Select from Schedule, High or Low, depending on the EDS settings.

Input mode

Displays the input mode set in the EDS. Select from Multicast, PointToPoint or Null, depending on the EDS settings.

Input trigger

Displays the input trigger set in the EDS. Select from Cyclic, ChangeOfState or Application, depending on the EDS settings.

Inhibit time mode

Select the inhibit time mode for when [ChangeOfState] is selected as the [Input trigger].

[Default]: 1/4 of RPI(T->O)
[Un-Activate]: 0
[Custom]: Value set in [Inhibit time]

Inhibit time

Set the inhibit time when [Custom] is selected as the [Inhibit time mode]. The setting range is 1 to 255 milliseconds. However, it must be smaller than the RPI(T->O).

Time-out Multiplier

Select a value to multiply the RPI value by to calculate the timeout value. Select the value to multiply by from the following.

x4
x8
x16
x32
x64
x128
x256
x512

Output O->T
