The [Compound Object Library] stores the template compound objects that you can use across multiple projects. To use a compound object in a project, drag and drop the compound object to the [Project Compound Objects] node, or directly to a screen or content in the project.
You can also create template compound objects under this node.
The [Project Compound Objects] node is a holder for compound objects in the current project. Like other graphic objects, drag and drop to place a project compound object onto the screen or content. The compound object appears in the [Project Compound Objects] node and in the Tool Chest. You cannot edit compound objects in the [Project Compound Objects] node.
Creating new compound objects is not possible in the [Project Compound Object]. Instead, copy and import compound objects from the [Compound Object Library].
