Checking System Errors

You can use the Alarm Summary object to check on system errors.

In Project Explorer window, go to [Alarm/Events] ➞ [All Alarms], and click [System Error Group].
In Properties window of System Error Group, click [Enable].
Draw an Alarm Summary object on the screen.
In Properties window of the Alarm Summary object, go to [Function] tab ➞ [Basic] tab ➞ [Alarm Group], click [System Error Group].

While the Alarm Summary object displays a system error:

If you shut down the Runtime, the next time you start up, the display of the system error in the Alarm Summary object does not change even if the system error is recovered.
If you restart instead of shutting down the Runtime, the Alarm Summary object displays the same system error again. After that, based on the timing when the system error is recovered, the Alarm Summary object is updated.
