Properties (Level Alarm)

[Message] '(alarm group name).(variable name).(alarm type).Message'

Enter the alarm message.
Click the ellipsis [...] to enter multiple rows.

The set value displays in the Alarm Summary object’s [Alarm Message] column.

Note: When entering characters that do not correspond with the Language Text, select the appropriate language in the font setting of objects where the characters will display. When using Language Text, select the language in the Language Table editor.

[Alarm Type]

Select the alarm type.
-[HiHi]
-[Hi]
-[Lo]
-[LoLo]

The set value displays in the Alarm Summary object’s [Alarm Type] column.

[Value]

Set the alarm value that is the condition that triggers the alarm.
The trigger condition is different depending on the [Alarm Type].
-[HiHi] or [Hi]: Alarm is triggered when the variable value is greater than or equal to the alarm value.
-[LoLo] or [Lo]: Alarm is triggered when the variable value is less than or equal to the alarm value.

Setting Value Range: Depends on the data range for the variable.

[Deadband]

Set the range between the value at which an alarm becomes active and the value at which the alarm returns to normal.
When an alarm becomes active, the alarm will not return to normal until the variable value exceeds the range value.

[Severity]

Set the severity of the alarm.
You can set up an Alarm Summary object to display different font colors and fill colors according to the severity of alarms. Different color settings can be applied to severity 1 to 3 alarms only.

Setting Value Range: 0 - 999

[Parameter]

Set the alarm parameter.
When an alarm is selected in an Alarm Summary object, the entered parameter value is saved in the Alarm Summary object’s source property (SelectedParameter).
Using this mechanism, touching the alarm on the alarm indicator displays the sub screen.

Setting Value Range: 0 - 65535

Note:

  • When the setting is a duplicate of the alarm group [Parameter], the alarm’s [Parameter] setting takes priority.

[Variable]

Set an integer or real variable to monitor active alarms.
From the property marker, select [Variable].

The set value displays in the Alarm Summary object’s [Target Variable] column.

Note: If you use different alarm types, you can register multiple alarms set with the same variable.
