If data logging has stopped, the data is not plotted in the Trend Graph object during that period. In the graph, a line is drawn between the values at stopping and restarting.

1: Period during data logging is stopped.

When you set [Current Value] to a target property "Target01.DateAndTime.DateTime", the maximum and minimum date and time will display incorrect range.
The date and time set beyond the range in display unit will not get updated in the target property.

- Please be careful when working with external storage. Any mishandling could corrupt the data or cause a malfunction on the external storage or display unit.
- While data is written to the external storage, changes in the display of parts and screens may slow down.
- If a write error occurs, any file that has not finished writing may remain on the external storage.
- When overwriting, the required available space on the external storage is more than the size of the actual data. If the data is larger than the available space, a write error will occur.
- Please connect only one USB storage device to the display unit. Even if multiple USB storage devices are connected to the display unit, you can only use the first USB storage device that is recognized.
- Turning the power OFF , resetting the display unit, or disconnecting the External Storage when accessing the External Storage may damage the External Storage.
- Back up the data on the External Storage.

If you use a display unit that does not support multi-touch, do not touch multiple points on the touch panel. If you touch multiple points on the touch panel, it may operate as if you touched the center-point of the multiple touches.
For example, if you touch two or more points on the touch panel and at the center of the touches is a switch for a drive system, even though you did not directly touch that switch, it may function as if you did.

WARNING

UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION

When using a display unit that does not support multi-touch, do not design applications that require the operator to touch two or more points.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

Note:

For information on the models which support the multi-touch, see the following.
Supported Model/Feature

If the object's horizontal width or vertical height is 601 pixels or more at runtime, a shadow does not display, regardless of the shadow settings.

(1) Horizontal width at runtime
(2) Vertical height at runtime

Note:

The above restriction affects the display size on the display unit (runtime), not the settings in the screen editing software.

The total number of image pixels loaded can be up to 10,000,000 pixels. When Using SP5000 Series Open Box (Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Model), IPC Series, or PC/AT, the total number of image pixels loaded can be up to 50,000,000 pixels.
If you try to load images A (6,000,000 pixels) and B (5,000,000 pixels) at the same time on a display unit with a maximum image size of 10,000,000 pixels, image B will not be displayed if image A is loaded first and will show the [Unable to load image] message.

Images with a width or height greater than 3000 pixels are not displayed, and will show the [Unable to load image] message.

You cannot open the project files created using V2.3 or earlier.

When you open the older version project file, it is recommended to verify the correctness of converted data in simulation.

When the GP-4100 Series is restarted using any operation other than a Runtime Application operation (such as Shutdown or Reboot), the following data is lost:
- Retentive Variable values
- Alarm Log
- Data Logging
Back up the data before shutting down or restarting the display unit.
Shutting Down and Restarting Runtime

For GP-4100 Series, slide gesture works in simulation. However, it does not work in display unit.

For communication between the IPC or PC/AT models and external devices, you can select from COM1 to COM9. For all other models, only COM1 and COM2 are available.

When transferring earlier version of project to version 3.1, the settings of [Date/Time] (Time Zone and Time Adjustment), [Touch] - [Buzzer], and [Brightness] changes to default at runtime.

To display on a trend graph logging data that is saved to external storage, make sure the external storage is connected to the display unit and recognized before displaying the screen with the trend graph. If you display the screen without external storage recognized, the trend graph will not work properly.
If the trend graph does not work properly, reopen the screen or change the trend graph to historical data one time.

It is not possible to Undo/Redo large number of data.

Pressing [AltGr]+[S] on the on-screen keyboard behaves the same as [Save As (Alt+Ctrl+S)].

If a USB barcode reader is disconnected while entering a value in an object, input to the active object may no longer be possible. Please reconnect the USB barcode reader, and then touch the object again to resume input.
