This section describes how to design compound objects.
Create the following compound object.
Place a [Numeric Display] part and two [Switch] parts. Decrease the value of the [Numeric Display] part with the left [Switch] part and increase the value of the [Numeric Display] part with the right [Switch] part.

To use a compound object in a project, copy and paste or drag and drop the compound object from the [Compound Object Library] node to the [Project Compound Objects] node.

Create a local variable (Var1) and drag and drop shapes and parts from the Tool Chest to the compound object editor.
Set up properties for the compound object, including local variables and associated converters.
- If you copy and paste, or drag and drop, the created compound object to the [Project Compound Objects] node, you can select the compound object from the [Compound Object] node in the Tool Chest window.
