Create compound objects in the Compound Object Explorer's [Compound Object Library] node. Once the compound object is created, in the compound object editor, set up the components of the compound object, such as graphical objects, compound object properties, scripts, local variables and so on.

Up to 500 compound objects can be created in the [Compound Object Library] node.
When creating a compound object, select from following layout types.
Compound object names cannot be duplicated within the [Compound Object Library] node and [Project Compound Object] node, and they also cannot have the same as graphical objects in the Tool Chest. Unlike other types of objects in the screen editing software, the names of compound objects are case-insensitive.
The name of a compound object can be up to 32 characters long. For more information on naming conventions, refer to the following.
Below the [Compound Object Library] node or [Project Compound Objects] node, you can add folders to organize lists of compound objects. You can add up to 100 folders, but you cannot nest folders within other folders.
Existing compound objects cannot be used in the design a compound object.
