Properties (Expression)

[Decimal Places]

This property is available by default in the Property window. Used when [Dec], [FloatFixed], [FloatAuto], or [FloatScientific] is selected in [Format].

Set the number of decimal places for the converted value.

Setting Value Range: 0 - 19

Note:

  • When using a source property in the [Current Value] and either a [Unit], [Scale], or [Expression] converter is used, the [Decimal Places] of the Converter property takes priority over the [Decimal Places] of the object property.
  • When using a float format [FloatFixed], [FloatAuto], or [FloatScientific] in a numeric display, select either a [REAL] or [LREAL] variable. If you use other data types, the floating point value may not be represented correctly.
[Rounding]

Select how to handle fractional values with decimal places that exceed the number of digits set in [Decimal Places].
