Development Workflow

Create the project file (*.blu) following the steps below.

  1. Setting up Display Units and External Devices

  1. Creating Variables
  2. Creating Screens
  3. Simulation
  4. Transferring

Note: The [Import Compound Objects] dialog box appears when you launch the screen editing software for the very first time. If required, import compound objects at this time. From subsequent launches, this dialog box will not automatically appear. Instead, use the Compound Object Explorer to import compound objects.

Simulation

Before transferring the project file, you can check project operations on a computer without actually connecting to external devices.
What is Simulation?

Transferring

By transferring a project file to the display unit, the display unit displays the screen and runs communication with external devices.

For information about the transfer process, refer to the following.

Before Transferring Projects

Note: Transferred project files are stored in the display unit's internal memory (application memory).
