Use the ladder software (SIMATIC TIA Portal) to configure the External Device communication settings. Please refer to the External Device manual for details.
Start up the ladder software.
Create a project and select the External Device.
Select the PROFINET interface on the CPU and display the setup screen.
Select [Ethernet address] and set up as follows.
