Settings of External Device

MPI address of the External Device is set with the Rotary switch of the EM 277 PROFIBUS-DP slave module.

For the communication speed of the External Device, the same value as that of the connected MPI master unit is automatically set. When two or more MPI master units are connected, the same communication speed is set for all MPI master units.
