Settings of External Device

Use the SoMachine Basic software for the External Device to define its communication settings. Please refer to the External Device manual for more details.

1. Start SoMachine Basic and create a new project.

2. Select CPU and drag and drop to the settings screen.

3. From the hardware tree in the [Configuration] tab, select [ETH1].

4. Input the [Device name] and [IP address].

   NOTE

   • The setting of Device name have to be identical to that of BLUE.

5. Click [Apply].

6. From the hardware tree in the [Configuration] tab, select [Modbus TCP].

7. Check [Enabled], and then click [Apply].
