The following display unit support only RS (RTS) / CS (CTS) as control signals.
ST6000 2nd Gen Series
Even if flow control using ER (DTR) is configured in BLUE, flow control will not operate on these display units.
If the cable diagram shows ER (DTR) / DR (DSR) for RS‑232C or control signals for RS‑422/485, reconfigure the wiring as shown in the examples on the right‑hand side.
For COM port pin assignments, refer to the hardware manual of display unit.
Please use RS (RTS) instead of ER (DTR) when connecting to an External device.
Example 1: The display unit is connected to an External device using ER (DTR).

Example 2: ER (DTR) is looped back on the display unit side.

Example 3: Both ER (DTR) and RS (RTS) are used in the wiring.

If control signals on the Display side are looped back in RS-422/485 wiring, omit the control signal wiring. However, there is no problem if it is looped back.
Example:

NOTE:
When no control signals are used (Example 1), or only RS (RTS) / CS (CTS) are used (Example 2), there is no need to reconfigure the cable diagram.
