Limitations
- To configure the communication settings correctly,
confirm the serial interface specifications of the display unit for SIO Type.
We cannot guarantee operation if a communication type not supported
by the serial interface is specified. For details concerning the serial
interface specifications, refer to the display unit
manual.
- When an External device
is sends a packet at display unit
start-up, and a low communication speed is specified (such as 2400),
a parity error may occur.
- When configuring the Ethernet communication settings,
avoid port numbers 3320 to 3321, 8000 to 8019, 8050 to 8051, and 8082
for the display unit
port. The display unit
system uses these ports for its initial status.
- Set KeepAlive if the External device
has this function. If communication is interrupted without KeepAlive,
the External device
may not be able to reconnect.
- When the port number for Ethernet communication (TCP)
is fixed, it may take some time to re-establish a connection after
it has been closed.
