Use the programming software (FPWIN GR7S v2.7.0.0) to set up communication settings on the External Device. For details on communication settings, please refer to the manual of the External Device.
1. Select [System Register Setting] from [Option] of the tool bar in the ladder software to display the [System Register Setting] dialog box. Select the port setting tab you want to use (COM0, COM1, or COM2) to set as below.

2. Add SYS1 command to logic program, and set n=6 (600usec) to the response time "WAIT_TIME" of the external device.
3. Restart the external device in RUN mode.
