Define the communication settings for the External Device using the engineering software MELSOFT GX Works3.
For more information, please refer to the manual of the External Device.
Start up the engineering software.
From the tree view, expand the [Parameter], select the External Device in use and then from [Module Parameter] double click [485 Serial Port].
In the [Module Parameter 485 Serial Port] window, specify the following parameters.
