External Device Settings

Use the ladder software (GX Works2) by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation for  External Device communication settings. Refer to your  External Device manual for details.

Procedure

1. Start up the ladder software.

2. From the [Project] menu select [New project] to display the [New project] dialog box.

3. Select the series and type of the External Device in use, then click [OK].

4. In the tree view, double-click [PC Parameter] to display the [FX Parameter setting] dialog box.

5. In [FX Parameter setting] click the [Ethernet Port setting] tab, and define the setup items as follows.

   Setup Items	Setting Value
   CH	CH1
   Input Format	Decimal
   IP address	192.168.0.1
   Subnet Mask pattern	255.255.255.0
   Default Router IP Address	192.168.0.250
   Communication data code	Binary code

6. Click [Open settings], and define the setup items as follows.

   Setup Items	Setting Value
   Protocol	UDP
   Open system	MC Plotocol (Fixed)
   Host station Port No. (DEC.)	1025
   Transmission target device IP address (DEC.)	192.168.0.2
   Transmission target device Port No. (DEC.)	1025

   NOTE

   • "Transmission target device" refers to the Display.

7. Click [End].
