Using external storage, you can transfer the project file from a PC to the display unit, or from the display unit to another display unit.
For file system transfers, use the BML file (package.BML) generated by the project. Save the generated package.BML file in external storage to transfer the project without using a USB or Ethernet cable.
For information about the types of external storage that display units can use, refer to the following.
To prevent tampering with the
project file on the display unit, enable user authentication for project
file transfer operations.
Please take precautions as transfer
will not be possible if you forget the user name or password.
For steps to transfer project, refer the following;

Start the screen editing software on the PC and open the project that you want to transfer (PC to Display Unit).
In Project Explorer window, go to [System Architecture] and click [Target01].
In Properties window, go to [Function] tab ➞ [Basic] tab and acknowledge that [Type] in [Transfer Method] is [File System].

On
the Application toolbar, click icon.
Before transferring, make sure the display unit you are transferring to is the same display unit type as defined in the screen editing software.
The
Download Manager dialog box displays the status. When the transfer
is complete, the file package.BML is generated in the destination
folder.
If the destination folder is outside external storage, copy the file
to the external storage folder.
Before the Download Manager dialog box is displayed, a dialog box showing the validation and file generation progress is displayed. Additionally, depending on the size of the project, it may take some time before the Download Manager dialog box appears.
Close the Download Manager dialog box after the transfer is complete.
