Maximum Number of Objects that can be Displayed Simultaneously

There is an upper limit to the number of objects that the runtime can display simultaneously. If the limit is exceeded, drawing is stopped and a system error is displayed.

Note:

  • When using scroll gestures to change the screen/content for a Slide Content Display or slide navigation, objects set in the previous and next screens/content that are not currently displayed, are also included in the calculation towards the upper limit.
  • Even if an object is not visible at run time due to its current [Visibility] setting, that object is also included in the calculation towards the upper limit.

  • If you indirectly specify the [Content ID] of a Content Display object or a Slide Content Display object, the screen editing software cannot count the objects for that content. Therefore, even if there is no error in the screen editing software, the object limit may be exceeded at run time and the content may not display. If that happens, a system error will display.

The maximum number is different for each display unit model. For the maximum number of objects that can display simultaneously for each model, refer to the following.

Supported Model/Feature List

Number of Objects per Screen/Content

The number of objects on a screen/content is displayed in brackets after screen/content name in the [Object List] window workspace.

Refer to this number as a reference to edit the screen/content so that the total number of objects displayed at the same time is less than or equal to the maximum number.

The number of objects displayed in the [Object List] window is for screen/content editing. The number of objects displayed simultaneously at runtime may not match the number in the [Object List] window, because it does not support calculating changes to the number of objects during screen operations that may occur at runtime.

When calculating the total number of objects, note the following.
